RCP Software
Bowling Software
This is a utility application for instantly determining prize fund payouts. The latest version is 2012-1000,
handling payouts up to 1,000 places. This is suitable for handling tournaments with up to 6,000 to 10,000
entries. The 2010 and all later versions require Excel 2007 or later. While originally designed to be used by
bowling events directors and managers for bowling tournaments, it can be used for any type of prize fund. It
makes the calculations instantly. Just enter the prize fund amount and hit a cursor arrow key.
For those who have somewhat older computers, Version 2.0 MEGA has been available for several years as part
of the Classic Line of products. It runs on Excel 2002 or later.
Later versions, such as the 2011 and 2012 versions described below (requiring Excel 2007 or later), simply
have more features and variations on original features. If you do not have Excel 2007 or later, the 2.0 Mega
version is the version you must use. The older Classic Line Version 2.0 MEGA of RCP DivvyItUp! will
calculate payouts for 5, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50, 80, and 150 places.

and a wider variety of distributions.
The initial 1.0 version of this software was created quickly in May 2008 because of several conversations I had
in early May 2008 with league secretaries inquiring about SweeperScore and wondering if there was any way to
calculate payouts quickly. They wanted in particular to be able to gracefully handle situations where bowlers
walked up to them at the last minute, offered their entry money, and wanted to get into an event that was just
about to start. League secretaries and tournament directors didn't want to recalculate prize fund amounts
continuously at the last minute in such situations and commonly told people they were out of luck. But they
would have liked to have been able to let the people in. So I sat down at my computer and created the initial
version of RCP DivvyItUp!
Now you can forget about having to spend hours with a committee trying to figure out how to divide a $673 prize
fund among 20 people you want to have in the money, or figuring out a payout list for a $36,000 prize fund to be
distributed among those placing from 1st to 250th. RCP DivvyItUp! will calculate the payouts instantly. Just
enter the total prize fund for the event in the insertion window and press any cursor arrow. Look to the right and
pick the distribution you like. The payout list can be inserted into SuperSweeperScore or
SuperSingles-n-Doubles or TourneyScore which have been specifically set up to work with DivvyItUp!
The classic 2.0 MEGA version is suitable for calculating payouts for prize funds ranging from very small
amounts up to tens of thousands of dollars. Some of these payout distributions have several different
sub-distributions for top-weighted payouts, mid-type payouts, and more evenly distributed payouts. You just
pick the one that floats your boat.
The most current 2012-1000 version is suitable for handling six-figure and even seven-figure prize funds and
handles the following payout sizes, with up to four different distributions at many levels:
5, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800,
900, & 1,000 places.
We are always open to suggestions and our aim is to make the lives of league secretaries, tournament
directors, bowling association officials, bowling center managers, and all bowlers as easy and enjoyable as
possible. This software has been modified several times now to meet special needs of secretaries, bowling
center managers, and tournament directors who have called me with special requests.
In contrast to other available bowling scoring and payouts calculating software that often costs a mint and
doesn't even work well (I have heard some real horror stories), RCP DivvyItUp! works smoothly. The
calculations are instantaneous. See Products & Prices page for pricing information.
If you live in California, you get the privilege of paying 7.25% state sales tax. However, if you are a recent or
current purchaser of SweeperScore, or SuperSweeperScore, or SuperSingles-n-Doubles, or SuperSingles, or
TourneyScore, you may have this additional utility software for $18-$23, depending on the version. DivvyItUp!
can save you hours of time. To order, send your check payable to Richard Power to the address listed here. If
you provide your e-mail address, the software can be sent to you instantly upon receipt of your check, instead of
on disk, upon request. Upon request, the e-mail delivery can also include a handy HandiCalc handicap
calculator/table. Our general electronic order form is also available.
This is flawless, standard format software designed for bowlers, tournament directors, bowling center
managers, bowling association officials, league secretaries, and anyone who needs to figure out a prize fund
quickly. It can be used for any sport or activity. It was written by a bowler with three perfect games who loves
the sport of bowling, not by some geek who writes buggy, proprietary format software and just wants to make a
buck off the backs of bowlers!
This software is now capable of handling payouts for state, multi-state, and national level tournaments.
If you are running a huge tournament such as a state or regional tournament, and need payout
calculation software in a hurry so you can accommodate last-second entries, and payouts up to 1,000
places isn't enough or you have some special need and the available payouts don't seem to fill your
need, and you don't want to be gouged by vendors selling current software at sky-high prices, contact
us right away and describe your needs. Special software can often be created in a matter of days. There
may be an alpha or beta version in the works that can provide what you need. Tell us what other
vendors want to extract from your pocketbook and we will beat their price and create the desired
software if at all possible. A SuperMega version of RCP DivvyItUp! can be created to order to run with
Excel 2007 or later.
