RCP BowlerTracker
BowlerTracker requires Excel 2007. It is the first New Generation product that will require Excel 2007 or
later. It was created in late March 2010 based on input from a bowler in New York who runs club
tournaments and requests from several bowlers around the country who manage bowling events.
This is a "hub" application that will work with various primary RCP Software scoring applications that will
function like the spokes of a wheel. With all the applications written in a compatible manner, data transfer
between applications will be easy.
BowlerTracker will track the performance of bowlers across various events, such as tournament events,
sweepers, even league scores, etc. It was written to meet requests from several bowling events managers
for software to track various tournament bowlers across multiple doubles or singles events. The initial 2010
version tracks up to 610 bowlers each bowling up to 348 games. Bowling events managers can now easily
keep track of names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, entering averages, current
averages, and all the individual games scores that are transferred in from RCP Software primary scoring
applications. Scores from other sources can also be entered manually, making this software very flexible.
As of early April 2010, a new application called SuperSingles-n-Doubles is available. It is the first of the
special New Generation products designed specifically to work with BowlerTracker. It has more advanced
features and even larger capacity than the original SuperSingles which can handle up to 3,000 bowlers
bowling up to 40 games apiece and which runs with Excel 2002/2003. The new in 2010
SuperSingles-n-Doubles is compatible with BowlerTracker and requires Excel 2007 or later. It can handle
both doubles and singles and even special events like Mulligan doubles or singles.
BowlerTracker costs $69.95. Add sales tax if you are in California. If you purchase a primary scoring
application, you may have BowlerTracker for $40.
SuperSweeperScore, a primary scoring application which also works with BowlerTracker, is also available.
